About the Author
I have always considered myself an artist.
I hope this short bio shows you a glimpse of who I am
I’m not certain why I’m a writer at this stage of my life but I’m excited to have arrived. I’m sure you have heard this before, so I apologize for not developing something more original for my introduction.
That said, if I had it to do all over, I would have been an artist from a young age. An unappreciated dancer or musician might have been cool. I have always loved dance. The way ballerinas perform a Pas de Quatre routine in Swan Lake is perfection. It almost makes me cry every time I see it. And a piano or violin concerto when played by a master seems surreal. It would have been glorious to learn to play either or both.
I sometimes believe I could have been an actor who executes deceit on stage to tell the truth. There are so many forums out there that tell lies to cover up the truth. It would have been wonderful to help expose the truth through interpretive performance.
I am also more than able at putting pencil to paper and drawing images from still photographs and placing them on larger canvases. Maybe I could have created oil painting masterpieces had I applied myself. I have even done some sculpting with surprising success. The point is that I have loved the experience associated with exploring all my different artistic personas. I truly suggest you do the same or the world may never see the artist hidden within.
Notwithstanding, at the end, I chose to be a writer, even if it was the least likely choice, perhaps it was meant to be from the very beginning. I have always been a good story teller just not through the written word. Again, I’m not sure why it took me so long to arrive at this point in my life. Nevertheless, I am here.
I have created and cultivated stories in my thoughts for decades; perhaps even longer. This first book–The Second Coming–was a struggle. Focusing on the silent articulation of this story then recording my insights to paper was an extreme test of will. Unfortunately, I do not expect any other production to be less arduous. However, perhaps it’s the journey that forges true strength and not the end results. There is still so much I don’t know. Nevertheless, I shall continue to keep pen to paper as often as possible, hoping to inspire others to ask questions and explore other possible realities.
